Wake Up Education
The purpose of wake-up education is not to fill people’s minds with abstract concepts and sterile information but to draw out the truth hidden within them.
As part of this Action, broadcasts, lectures, and self-awareness seminars are conducted, and Study Groups for the book “The Spiritual Activist’s Handbook” have been established. This book is one of those already published under the “Wake Up Publications” initiative.
Shortly, we envision establishing the “Wake Up University,” which aims to expand individual consciousness and promote an alternative model of social coexistence. The volunteer instructors who will participate in teaching are expected to connect the emerging new paradigm in science with contemporary reality. Our plan includes organizing workshops where the information shared will inspire creative research and social action. To accomplish this, we seek a suitable venue (e.g., a cinema-theater) to host our activities and enthusiastic teachers to share their knowledge.

Publications
The Spiritual Activism Movement “LIGHT IN ACTION” has published five (5) books that are available at all bookstores.
The Flight of Daedalus
In 2025, the book The Flight of Daedalus by Giannis Avgoustatos was published by Dromon Editions.
The Flight of Daedalus is a multi-layered work that blends mythological allegory, philosophical inquiry, and personal transformation.
The use of the myth of Daedalus as a symbolic foundation offers the reader a familiar narrative that gradually unfolds into an inner journey.
The book is not merely a story, but a guide to self-knowledge, strongly influenced by alchemy, philosophy, psychology, and spiritual activism.
The reader witnesses the hero’s transformation not through sudden revelations, but through lived experiences, inner crises, and profound moments of self-realization.
Life Lessons from the Study of Death
In 2024, “Life Lessons from the Study of Death” by Ioannis Avgoustatos was published by Dromon Editions.
This book aims to break the “conspiracy of silence” surrounding death while highlighting the invaluable life lessons we can gain from examining it.
The mystery of death – and consequently the mystery of life – is explored on multiple levels: historical, scientific, psychological, philosophical, parapsychological, and metaphysical. Research into the pain of grief and the fear of death can lead to greater self-awareness, which can, in turn, foster peace and bliss.
Through its pages, the book dispels the mistaken identification of a person with their “material” body and the “material” world. It unveils an extraordinary realm filled with meaning, beauty, and fearlessness. It is dedicated to the seekers of truth who dare to “die” in the shadowy world, so they may be reborn into Eternal Light!
The Spiritual Activist's Handbook
In 2017, “The Spiritual Activist’s Handbook” by Ioannis Avgoustatos was published by Dromon Editions. This book explores the philosophy and strategies of the “Light in Action” Movement across various sectors. It serves as an essential resource for spreading the Awakening Message and has played a crucial role in establishing new centers in Greece and abroad.
The Esoteric Teachings of Plato
In 2022, “The Esoteric Teachings of Plato” by Ioannis Avgoustatos was published by Dromon Editions. Most modern scholarly works on Plato tend to examine his teachings through a secular and intellectual lens, often overlooking their sacred and spiritual dimensions. This book aims to reverse that trend by reviving the spiritual essence of Platonic teachings, drawing on the insights of the Philosophia Perennis (Eternal Wisdom).
The Philosophical Café of the "Light in Action" Movement 2014-2019
In 2019, “The Philosophical Café of the ‘Light in Action’ Movement 2014-2019” by Ioannis Avgoustatos was published by Dromon Editions. This book compiles the talks and presentations delivered by Avgoustatos from 2014 to 2019. It also chronicles the development and activities of the new Philosophical Cafés, which have been continuously expanding throughout Greece and Cyprus.
